As a charity, Carers Milton Keynes relies on both donations and practical help to carry out our work. We are very grateful to the funding bodies who have supported us and continue to do so. But we always need more help and some of the ways you can help us are listed below. If you would like more information on any of these opportunities, please contact us.

Carers Milton Keynes has signed up to a website called The Giving Machine. Online retailers pay The Giving Machine commission for directing customers to them. They pass this commission on to charities registered on their site. Top retailers like Amazon, John Lewis and Marks and Spencers are members.

Fundraising

We are always on the look out for new ways to raise funds, whether it is a cake sale, a swimathon or a death defying stunt! Whatever you fancy doing to help raise money for Carers Milton Keynes we would like to support you.

We are currently putting together a Volunteer Fundraising Team who would be prepared to help plan, organise and run events to raise money to support our work for Young Carers and Adult Carers in Milton Keynes. We are looking for enthusiastic team players who would be willing to get stuck in to the task.

Volunteering

We need volunteers for a variety of activities, including:

Drivers to drive Carers to activities and support groups
People with administrative skills to help us out in the office
Qualified and experienced Complementary Therapists
Handyman willing to do small DIY jobs
Fundraisers (see below)

All our volunteers are given full training and we can assure you of a valued and valuable role within the Carers Milton Keynes team. A CRB check will be required for some roles.
